In a normal and mutual family gathering at the Oke Ado state office of the All Progressive Congress, APC, the Honorable Minister of Power, Chief Adebayo Adelabu OFR officially defected back to progressive party in the state.
Adelabu, who was warmly received by the state working committee of the party led by Barr. Ajiboye Isaac Omodewu. As anchored by the state publicity secretary of the party, Alh. Wasiu Sadare, who described Minister of Power, Chief Bayo Adelabu as their own in progressive.
While publicly accepting and welcoming Adelabu back to the party, Alh. Olanite, who is the party scribe in the state and holding fort for the state chairman in absence said Minister is always the proud of the party. His exit from APC during the last general elections is understood, and we tried to persuade him not to leave home. But, he knows best for leaving and now he has realized that there is no place like home.

Thanking the party leaders, stakeholders, members and general public for trooping out to welcome him back to the party, Adelabu said, it is time to build a formidable APC in Oyo state.
“We do not have to fight again. Let’s understand ourselves. APC is ours. We must not allow it to fall.”
“There is no more war. Peace is the best we should all work for in APC.”Adelabu added.
Defecting to APC with Adelabu, Mr. Kolapo Kola-Daisi, Hon. Olayemi Ariba, Hon. Akinjide Kazeem Akinola, Hon. Rotimi Ajanaku, Hon. Abass Aleshinloye, all Accord party candidates and aspirants in last general elections in Oyo state.
