An Abuja based businessman and Ibadan politician, Akinjide Kazeem Akinola has congratulated Egbeda/Ona-Ara Federal Constituency, Oyo State and Nigerians on the celebration of Eid-li-Fitri marking the end of this year Ramadan.
Akinola in a press statement via his Media Assistant, Akintunde Yusuf, after observing the two-rakkah Eid prayer said, “We must thank Allah for the gift of life and the convenience this year Ramadan brings along.”
“At the beginning of this year Ramadan, Nigerians generally are uncertain of how the fasting month would be, and owing to the economic status of the nation. And I remembered I had said then that, Allah is the only provider and giver of everything. And that we should believe in HIM.”
“Alhamdullilah, we are here thanking Allah for HIS grace during that fasting period. And it is my belief that we’ve had one or two lessons that will continue to shape our faith and conduct as patriotic and obedient citizens.”
“The level of endurance and perseverance we exhibit during the fasting month is what we need to reshape the future of this country. Our need our high level of endurance and perseverance.”
“I understand that Nigerians are losing trust in their respective leaders, but still, we have to understand that they’re human like us before becoming one public office holder or the others. Let’s give them the benefit of doubt and trust their process of making this country a better one.” Akinola added.
