An Ibadan-born politician and Abuja-based businessman Akinjide Kazeem Akinola has congratulated the members of All Progressive Congress (APC) in Oyo State and some other indigenes of the state who were inaugurated as Governing Councils members of Federal universities, polytechnics and colleges of education in Nigeria.
Akinola, in a press statement via his Media Assistant, Akintunde Yusuf, in congratulating members of his party, APC, and other indigenes of Oyo state that make the governing council members’ list as released recently and inaugurated today in Abuja.
In his statement further, the APC chieftain, Akinola, emphasized that their enlistment in the governing council composition by President Bola Tinubu led government is a testament to their values, significant leadership quality and ability to bring transformation ideas and initiatives to the advancement of the educational sector of the country.
“With that appointment, I believe they all will represent President Bola Tinubu well in their respective designated institutions and bring lasting solutions to the decaying education problems in the country.”
“While at that, I want to further charge them to explore every opportunity therein their respective designated institutions for the betterment of our party members and loyalists meritoriously.” Akinola said.

Among the inaugurated governing council members from Oyo State are Former Deputy Governor, Rauf Olaniyan as the Chairman, Governing Council of the Federal College of Education (Special), Former Minister Barr. Bayo Shittu as the Chairman, Governing Council of the Federal University of Medical Science, Abakaliki, Ebonyi state, and Barr. Mubo Adelabu as Chairman, Governing Council of the Federal Polytechnic, Ayede, Oyo state.
