Expressing his joyous mood on the news of the elevation of Oyo South Senator, Chief Shatafadeen Abiodun Alli, as the Ekarun Balogun Olubadan of Ibadanland, a chieftain of APC in Oyo State, and hopeful of Egbeda/Ona-Ara Federal Constituency, Akinjide Kazeem Akinola, has described the lawmaker as a man whose life journey is full of lessons and sacrifices as he climbed another step in the Olubadan throne ladder.
Akinola who via his Media Assistant, Akintunde Yusuf, congratulates the Ekarun Balogun Olubadan of Ibadanland, Sen. Shatafadeen Alli on the new rank in the Balogun lane of Olubadan Chieftaincy ladder.
Kindly recall that the Olubadan of Ibadanland, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Akinloye Owolabi Olakunlehin and Olubadan-in-Council approved the promotion and elevation of the thoroughbred Ibadan politician and grassroots developer, Chief Sharafa Alli following the vacancy created by the demise of some notable beaded crown Oba and chiefs of Ibadanland.
Akinola who further described the newly elevated Ekarun Balogun Olubadan of Ibadanland as a man whose life journey has been one with impact and sacrifices for the good of Ibadanland.

“He has been serving Ibadan, and it is my belief that Ibadan would serve him as well at his designated time to become Olubadan of Ibadanland.”
Also, Akinola congratulates others elevated during the event held at the new Olubadan of Ibadanland Palace; Oba Tajudeen Abimbola Ajibola who was elevated from Otun Balogun to Balogun of Ibadanland, Oba Kolawole Adegbola, promoted from Asipa Balogun to Otun Balogun of Ibadanland and Oba John Olubunmi Isioye-Dada who moved from Ekerin Balogun to Osi Balogun of Ibadanland.
Others are; Oba Dauda Abiodun Azeez (absent but represented) who rose from Ekarun Balogun to Asipa Balogun of Ibadanland, and Senior Chief Akeem Bolaji Adewoyin who climbed the ladder from Abese Balogun to Ekerin Balogun of Ibadanland.
“While at that, Akinola urged the Olubadan-in-Council and the entire traditional rulers in Ibadanland to continue their sacrifices for the good of Ibadanland. Ibadan is feeling their impacts in their respective capacity to make it more lively and enviable. They should not relent.”
