For those raising needless dust about having a new face on the development of Egbeda/Ona-Ara Federal Constituency, I think those are not in for the development of the federal constituency beyond where it is, at present, or maybe better than in couple of weeks or say months before 2027 politicking commences in proper.

I have been carefully reading about ‘years’ and the word like ‘ranking’ as reasons why the present occupier needs to be supported, but I beg to disagree, events and happenings have defeated that line of arguments or say thoughts in support of the present occupier. 

Hon. Akin Alabi is a second timer in the green chamber of the national assembly. And I don’t know how we can equate a second timer’s performances like his with the performance of the representative of Ido/Ibarapa Federal Constituency, Engr. Remi Oseni, who is a first timer.

Even many second timers are far better and ahead of what Egbeda/Ona-Ara is getting in terms of dividends of democracy. I’m still looking inward at the need to continue with the present arrangements that defeat the principle of equity and justice in this modern political setting.

Let us come home, I don’t know how to describe the mindset of the opposers of the ‘Ona-Ara Lokan’ agenda.

We do not have to label anyone ‘hypocrites’ because of the togetherness that exists in the federal constituency.

But they should fairly judge themselves if they are part of those who campaigned with ‘Emi Lokan’ for President Bola Tinubu in the last general election.

If the slogan/agenda ‘Ona-Ara Lokan’ is divisional to them as they are making it to be, I don’t know how they want to assess the ‘Emi Lokan’ slogan of President Bola Tinubu prior to 2023 elections, a direct replica of ‘Ona-Ara Lokan’.

Going by the principle of justice and fairness, ‘Ona-Ara Lokan’ should not be too harsh on those who are not pleased with it. Why are they being afraid? Instead of getting needless sweats and throwing tantrums against the unshakeable Akinjide Kazeem Akinola, they should await the verdict of the would-be delegates and see if their subpar performance and principle of inequality will earn them ticket come 2027 electioneering process within All Progressive Congress, APC in Egbeda/Ona-Ara Federal Constituency. 

Not only that he, Akinjide Kazeem Akinola, is unshakeable and first among the best on the list of hopefuls to represent the federal constituency, but he is perfectly fit for the position as demonstrated in his zeal and passion for the development of the two local governments.

His activities and support for the party and its candidates during the last local government elections in the state is one piece of evidence. He’s with the energy to mobilize and unite the constituents is at top notch. His high interest in uplifting the educational development of the federal constituency through his foundation’s educational support program.

And his community development drive and initiative. His social welfare scheme and a whole lot of others are enough to project how best he will represent the federal constituency.

If Emi Lokan of PBAT is good, then Ona-Ara Lokan of AKA is Best.
