In his continuation of making an impact in his progressive party, APC, Hon. Akinjide Kazeem Akinola has met with the Ona-Ara chapter leaders to strategize ahead of local government elections.
Akinola during the meeting emphasized that there is need for all leaders and stakeholders to close ranks and ensure the success of the party at the coming local government poll.
While briefing newsmen after the meeting in Ibadan, Akinola explained that the meeting is in continuation of the one held with the party candidates yesterday.

“It is important to meet the leaders after extensively discussing with our chairmanship and councillors candidates in Ona-Ara Local Government. That is my local government of origin.”
“The meeting is to further synergize the plans and actions to ensure electoral victory for our party come April. If we, candidates, leaders and party, merged plans together, victory is certain.” He added.
“And I appreciate the support and encouragement of our leaders. And I am still soliciting for their support as we progress in making APC a more viable and formidable party in our federal constituency and Oyo State as a whole.”
“That PDP is in charge of government here in Oyo State doesn’t mean we cannot defeat them at the coming local government poll in Oyo State. It is doable. We can floor them. We just have to work together and ensure victory.” Akinola concluded.
