Former Federal Representative Aspirant from Egbeda/Ona-Ara Federal Constituency in Oyo State, Hon Ashimiu Afeez-Adio has expressed the readiness of many APC leaders and faithfuls to join hands and work with Chief Adebayo Adelabu on his planned return to the All Progressives Congress (APC) to further actualise ‘The Renewed Hope’ Agenda of President Bola Tinubu.
Chief Afeez-Adio expressed this in a statement released to the press stating that it’s a good step in the right direction. He said further that such momentous occasion had long been awaited by many leaders of the APC.
“Chief Adebayo Adelabu return to the All Progressives Congress (APC) is a good step in the right direction. A lot of our party leaders and faithfuls have long awaited this momentous occasion and the joy within us knows no bound.
“Chief Adelabu as Minister of Power and a staunch agent of ‘The Renewed Hope’ mantra, it is imperative that all Oyo Progressives forces join hands with him in the state to actualise the dream of President Bola Tinubu and a better Nigeria.” Hon Afeez-Adio said.
Hon Afeez-Adio also stated that Chief Adelabu return to the APC is a welcome development that should be embraced by all Progressives as it the beginning of many steps to rebuild the party to further promote unity and progress.
“This amid other benefits portends a welcome development that should be appreciated by all Progressives and sundry in Oyo State particularly. It will no doubt be the needed resurgence and reawakening to help rebuild our party to foster greater unity and progress.” He added.
“I, Hon Ashimiu Afeez-Adio want to use this medium to welcome Chief Adelabu back to the APC, the rightful home of true Progressives with Justice, Peace and Unity as party motto for all loyalists” Adio concluded.
