ASO OKE FESTIVAL: A Celebration of Yoruba Heritage And Culture

The last Aso Oke festival was an amazing moment, with people from across the world gracing the epoch event.

The illustrious sons and daughters from Iseyin made the festival more evergreen through their contributions in different ways.

This is ostensibly a sign of giving back to your mother’s land. Aso-Oke festival has now gained momentum among the international festivals in Nigeria and throughout the world as Oyo state is continuing to do its best to stand and compete with other countries in promoting art and culture. This is shown in the way we keep promoting our cultural festivals and artistic works.

BIRTHDAY: Your Contributions Are Impactful in Oyo Political Terrain — Hon. Adedoja Celebrates PDP Deputy Nat’l Chairman, Arapaja

The events had in attendance the people in government, elites, expatriates and very important personalities in our society, among who was the Deputy Governor of Oyo State, H.E Barr. Bayo Lawal representing H.E Engr Seyi Makinde Fnse, the Honourable Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, Hon. Wasiu Olatunbosun, Oloye Dotun Sanusi also represented by Alhaji Ibrahim Tiamiyu Adebayo (Bromio), Princess Aderonke Rahmat Adedoja (ARA), the Chairperson of National Association of Nigerian Traders, Oyo state chapter and Coordinator for National Association of Nigerian Traders South-West, Alhaja Adenike Ajoke Olori among others.

The National Association of Nigerian Traders (NANTS) Oyo state chapter commended Hon. Olatunbosun for his atypical leadership in resolving the crisis among the Aso-Oke Association.

Princess Adedoja described Hon. Olatunbosun as an experienced man of impeccable character both in politics and society.

Also, the NANTS Oyo state chapter had a familiarisation with men in building a synergy that will foster unity and progress.

Princess Adedoja also used the opportunity to appreciate the members of NANTS in Oyo state and South-West for their continuous support and cooperation in taking the association to greatness.

ASO OKE FESTIVAL: A Celebration of Yoruba Heritage And Culture

Alhaji Ibrahim Adebayo Bromio, along with the Aso-oke celebration, met with Jubril Dotun Sanusi Support Group Iseyin. He duly explained to the members of the group whom Dotun Sanusi is and attended to their questions, respectively.

He gave them assurance on their support for Dotun Sanusi as it would be in futility, and all their activities have been recognised and will be continuously rewarded.

Alhaji Brimio extended to the group the hand of gesture and called for more cooperation and implored them to remain steadfast and resilient.
