
Under the leadership of Dr. Bosun Tijanni, Honourable Minister of Communications, Innovation, and Digital Economy, a significant milestone was achieved earlier this week. Dr. Aminu Maida, Executive Vice Chairman and Chief Executive of the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), joined handy with Nokia Solutions and Networks Nigeria in signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
The landmark agreement aims to empower young Nigerians with the latest 4G/5G radio and transmission technologies through training sessions held at the Nigerian Communications Commission’s Digital Parks.
Nokia Nigeria will establish a cutting-edge 5G/4G test lab, harnessing its state-of-the-art radio and transmission technologies.


This collaboration marks a decisive step towards enhancing the skills and capabilities of Nigerians, ensuring they are well-equipped to navigate the dynamic telecommunications landscape.
Aligned with the Ministry of Communications, Innovation, and Digital Economy’s commitment to promoting digital literacy and fostering technical talent nationwide, Nokia Nigeria will launch an Entrepreneur Learning Programme.
This initiative will provide top-notch vocational training to 200 Nigerian students selected from each of the six geopolitical zones, further solidifying Nigeria’s position as a leader in digital innovation and capacity building.
