
As Muslim Ummah around the globe are celebrating the Eid-el-Kabir festival, Hon. Akinjide Kazeem Akinola of Egbeda/Ona-Ara Federal Constituency has appealed to Nigerians to emulate and sacrifice their resources to work for the good of the Nation.
Akinola made this statement while congratulating Muslims faithful across the globe stating the importance of Eid-el-Kabir, and which is to mark Prophet Ibrahim’s willingness to make sacrifice of his only gift from his creator as promised, as an act of obedience to Allah.
Akinola who further said the level of obedience of Prophet Ibrahim is one that Nigerians needed to have in making this nation a prosperous one.

“Prophet Ibrahim’s story is highly interesting, enviable and full of lessons. It is important here to state that, political leaders should learn how to keep to political promises, just like Prophet Ibrahim keeps to it with Allah.”
The Ibadan-born politician and Abuja-based businessman further noted that, Muslims faithful across the globe should know Eid-li-Kabir is a feast of the Sacrifice as laid down by Prophet Ibrahim, and our solemn prayers in eids all over the world is to seek Allah’s blessings and mercy over our family and the nation at large.
