An Oyo State chieftain and leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Alhaji Fatai Bayonle Ibikunle has grieved the death of former Secretary to Oyo State Governor, Chief Michael Adeniyi Koleosho.
Ibikunle on Tuesday joined the league of notable personalities across the business and political cycles to lament Chief Koleosho’s transition.
He described the exit of Babalaje of Saki land’s as another irrecoverable loss to the fatherly and leadership vacuum in the state progressives political camps.
In a condolence statement to the immediate family of the deceased, teeming friends, political associates and fellow protégés, former Governor Lam Adesina’s aide recited the late Babalaje as an irredentist democrat who relentlessly fought with his intellectual and financial mights for the restoration self rules in Nigeria.
His contributions to the Oyo State development did not become noticeable as the Scribe to the State Government during the governorship of late Lam Adesina but since the struggle for the Nigeria’s independence along with many irrepressible nationalists till the total entrenchment of the democratic administrations in the country.
Ibikunle eulogized late Koleosho as a selfless and visionary leader whose footprints will be eternally adored as an accomplished businessman and diehard political welfarist who religiously explored his personal resources and clout for the human upliftment and egalitarian society.
He lastly consoled the biological and teeming political children of the late former Governor Lam-Adesina’s ally to pray for his repose and take solace in the good Lord for the irreparable blow occasioned by the glorious passing of the late leader with an impactful life of humanitarian service to the mankind till his earthly sojourn eclipsed.
