Hon. Bolaji Paul Gbengbeleku, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ona-Ara and Oyo State, has congratulated Nigerians on the Independence Day celebration.
Gbengbeleku, who is the Chairman and Founder of Bolaji Gbengbeleku Foundation, operating within Ona-Ara local government, offers humanitarian services to the people of the local community.
In his Independence Day message, the Ona-Ara State Assembly hopeful called for genuine patriotism from both public office holders and general citizens.

“While I congratulate Nigerians on the occasion of Nigeria’s Independence Day celebration, I want to use this opportunity to appeal for genuine patriotism from all,” Gbengbeleku said.
“A country with patriots is bound to thrive and excel, with everyone benefiting from their patriotism.”
“Lack of patriotism is what makes those holding public offices amass wealth unnecessarily at the expense of the suffering masses. Similarly, unpatriotic followers make things more difficult for themselves and others. Ultimately, the consequences affect everyone.”
“I appeal to everyone to prioritize patriotism for the interest of all and for Nigeria’s betterment. If we do, we will all benefit,” He concluded.
