Bolaji Gbengbeleku, the founder and initiator of Bolaji Gbengbeleku Foundation has joined hundreds of thousands of eminent personalities of Ibadan and beyond in mourning the passing of Oba Lekan Balogun, the 42nd Olubadan of Ibadanland.
Gbengbeleku in his mourning message condoles the sons and daughters of Ibadanland, Oyo State, Yoruba rave and Nigeria as a whole on the loss of an icon and epitome of knowledge Olubadan, Oba Lekan Balogun.
Bolaji Gbengbeleku Wishes Ona-Ara People Ramadan Kareem
The APC chieftain in Ona-Ara Local Government, Gbengbeleku further described the late Olubadan, Oba Lekan Balogun as one who reigned shortly as Olubadan of Ibadanland but made great impacts on Ibadan during his reign.
“Oba Lekan Balogun was a King worthy of ‘His Imperial Majesty’ title as he was a man who lived for the growth and development of Ibadanland.”
“Ibadan and Nigeria as a whole will sorely miss him and his intellectual bank of knowledge.”
“I sympathize with the people of Ibadan and Ibadanland on this loss. Oyo State and Nigeria as well.” Gbengbeleku concluded.
