HIJRAH 1446: Akinola Congratulates Muslim Faithful, Nigeria

A chieftain of All Progressive Congress, APC, in Oyo State, Akinjide Kazeem Akinola has congratulated all the Muslim faithful across the country on the occasion of the new Islamic Calendar year, Hijrah 1446.

The first day of Muharram in the Islamic calendar signifies the commencement of the new year, Hijrah 1446 and which is celebrated across the globe.

The Ibadan-born politician further added, “I congratulate Nigerians, and Muslim faithful most importantly, on the celebration of Hijrah 1446. It is time for us to reflect on many things that surround us as a nation.”

“The Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) preaches unity, love and peace during his lifetime. And beyond the teachings, he exemplified them all. And those are what we need to exemplify as well as Nigerians.”

“Through that, we will be able to solve insurmountable problems facing us as a nation. And we will triumph.”

“Let’s also continue our support for those in one leadership position or the other driving the affairs of our nation. Their success is the comfort of us all.” He added.

“It is time for us to collectively work together and make Nigeria better as exemplified in the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him)”
