Gov. Seyi Makinde of Oyo State has met with the President Bola Tinubu to present the report of the last Tuesday’s Ibadan Explosion at Dejo Oyelese Close of Adeyi Avenue, Bodija.
Makinde who was at the Aso Rock Villa, Abuja to brief the president of the outcome of the preliminary findings of the explosion that claim lives, properties and left many injured.
Kindly recall that upon the hearing of the incident, President Bola Tinubu directed the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) to work with the government of Oyo State and provide comprehensive relief to the victims affected by the explosion.
President Tinubu further call on all concerned agencies of government to unravel the circumstances that surrounds the ibadan explosion.
While appreciating the President, Gov. Makinde assured the president of the readiness of the state government to provide succour to the victims and to fish out and punish those behind the tragedy.
