A retired Headmaster at the State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) in Akinyele Local Government, Comrade Lukuman Boladale Safiu has described allegation levied on Oba Hamidu Ajibade as baseless and the one that should be discarded by every right thinking individual.
It would be recalled that Mogaji Oladoja who was stripped off of his traditional title as head of Akinsola family of Opopo Labiran alleged that Oba Hamidu Ajibade was involved in illegal mining activities through a statement issued shortly after he was sacked on the recommendations of the Olubadan Advisory Council.

Comrade Safiu described Oba Hamidu Ajibade as a man of integrity, an elder statesman who is passionate about the growth and development of Oyo state.
He advised the good people of Oyo State not to believe anything coming out of mouth of traditional head whose love for money is unquantifiable.
He stressed that Ekerin Olubadan is a man of peace to the core with zero tolerance for anything that can bring his name and Ibadanland to disrepute.
It would be recalled that Mogaji Oladoja was quoted in an online publication by MoacTV on Tuesday, March 5, 2024 that Oyo State government must set up an Investigative team to look into Oba Hamidu Ajibade’s illegal mining activities and sanction him appropriately.
“Hadn’t been I know Kabiesi was illegal miner as claimed by Mogaji Oladoja, I wouldn’t associate with him and monarch won’t parade of well-cultured and men of integrity around him.
“My single advise for Mogaji Oladoja is for him to concentrate on how to rebuild his dented image. Isn’t embarrassing and generational degrading to tell a 66-year-old man to step aside as head of his family compound on the account of wrong doing?”
“May I humbly advise our royal father, Oba Hamidu Ajibade to prove Mogaji Oladoja wrong of his allegation so that the whole world will see why he was suspended and subsequently sack as Mogaji of his compound’’.
