A chieftain of All Progressive Congress APC in Oyo State, Akinjide Kazeem Akinola, has again met with the chairmanship candidate of his party in Ona-Ara Local Government, Hon. Ismail Akanni Ere and other stakeholders for a strategic meeting.
Akinola,.an Abuja based businessman and Ibadan politician has been observably and actively involved in the process of the local government election scheduled for 27th April, 2024 in Oyo state.
According to our his Media Assistant, Akintunde Yusuf, Akinola also met some councilorship candidates in the local government for further strategies on winning the election against all odds that the opposition PDP may push on the way.
“In many ways, Akinola has been taking the front seat in ensuring that the party, APC, come out victorious in Ona-Ara Local Government.” One of the councilorship candidates attested.
According to him, Akinola, “The election is important. In APC, we value grassroots development, and one reason why my party is actively participating in the local government election in Oyo state.”
“And in my local government, we will give in all our best to record victory.”
“OYSIEC has assured us of a level playing ground for free, fair and credible elections on Saturday. And we believed their stand on that.”
“I want to urge and appeal to the people of Ona-Ara Local Government to come out and vote for Hon. Ismail Akanni Ere as the Executive Chairman of Ona-Ara Local Government, Oyo State, and all the 11 ward councilors.”
