Providusbank — The Deputy Managing Director of Providusbank and an alumnus of the University of Ibadan, Mr. Kingsley Aigbokhaevbo has attributed his success in life to the training, discipline, and social competence that he received at his Alma mater, the University of Ibadan.

Mr. Aigbokhaevbo stated this when he paid a courtesy call on the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Kayode O. Adebowale, mni, FAS, in his office.

He recalled how the University environment provided all that was needed to live a disciplined life that helped him in navigating the commercial space later in life.

He used the opportunity of the visit to thank the University of Ibadan for providing the platform for such training.

Mr. Aigbokhaevbo called for a deeper collaboration between UI and ProvidusBank in areas where the bank could be of help.

The DMD said ProvidusBank was unique because it focuses more on customer care and using technology to drive its service delivery rather than branch expansion.

Mr. Aigbokhaevbo obtained a first degree from the Department of Agricultural Economics in 1988 and later became a chartered accountant.

The VC also informed Mr Aigbokhaevbo of the resolve of the management to decorate him as one of the UI@75 Ambassadors to celebrate the 75 years of existence of the University of Ibadan.
