A Chieftain of All Progressives Congress, APC, in Oyo State, Hon. Akinjide Kazeem Akinola (rtd) has congratulated Nigerians and Muslim faithful in particular on the commencement of 2024 Ramadan, a month of fasting and blessings.
The Ibadan-born and Abuja based businessman, Akinola, in his message appeals to Muslim faithful and Nigerians in general to use the month of Ramadan to work on heart purification as for us all to be able to think and act positively for the good of the Nation.
According to him, “Ramadan is a popular and most important month in the life of every Muslims of the world. It is the month we moved closer to Allah and increased in supplications and Ibadah and sought many things from Allah.”

“While we are seeking personal things from Allah, it is important as well that we clean our hearts of hatred and bad feelings for the country. Nigeria is ours, we just collectively put hands together for the good of all.”
“As a believing Muslim, we should know that the love of a nation is part of Ibadah and worshiping Allah. It is important we show love to Nigeria and fellow Nigerians as one of the teaching of Ramadan.” He added.
“Let our Imaan be strong in Allah. And let’s replicate it in our leaders for them to be able to lead us right.”
“I pray that Allah makes the 30 days of fasting in this Holy month of Ramadan beneficial for us personally and for our nation.” Akinola concluded.
