It is not news again that APC NWC has dissolved the executives of all the factions in the Rivers State chapter of the party.
The party National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka announced further Tony Okocha as the chairman of the state caretaker committee.
Felix Morka announced the dissolution after a crucial meeting of the party’s highest administrative organ at the party’s National Secretariat, Abuja.
He added that the seven-man state caretaker committee will be inaugurated on Friday by the National Chairman, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje.
Why the dissolution?
There are many indications that, the dissolution is necessary and appropriately. As alleged, the dissolved state executive members were said to be those working for the former Minister from the state and who have been dissident and not identifying with the party activities and operations for quite number of times.
To many, the activity of the alleged former minister is anti-party and thus relating the activities of those party officers as such, and thus, dissolution for the interest of the party is important and appropriate to many of those who have commented on the dissolution news.
